When we near the end of the calendar year, more than a few of us start considering how we can improve ourselves moving into the next. While New Year’s Day is often a day of reflection and summer fun, there are many people who have set resolutions to push their life in a new direction.
According to a recent poll from Nielsen, the top New Year’s resolution for this year was staying fit and healthy, cited by 37 per cent of respondents. This was followed by losing weight (32 per cent), enjoying life to the fullest (28 per cent), spending less (25 per cent) and interacting more with family and friends (19 per cent).
Setting Business Resolutions Works
However, New Year’s resolutions shouldn’t’ be restricted to just your personal life – why shouldn’t you set business aspirations for the 12 months ahead?
If your enterprise has had a difficult year and you are looking at the next year as a possible change in the wind, it is important to set goals now and put plans in place to start the year off on the right foot. In the manufacturing or transport industry, this might come in the form of plastic pallets to replace your current old and current unhygienic wooden versions.
Based on the 2014 World Pallet Industry Study published by Freedonia, “demand for plastic pallets will grow the fastest of any product type in most national markets through 2017.”
The report illustrated a number of benefits of plastic pallets that can add value to a business’ operations moving forward. This included the fact that they can be easily cleaned, last for many years and are robust to damage during normal transportation and storage.
In fact, if businesses are looking for the green approach, durable plastic pallets can also be recycled and made from environmentally-friendly products.
